Day 1: Nairobi
‘Jambo’! Welcome to Africa. On arrival meet our representative who will escort you to the New Stanley Hotel. In the afternoon you visit Karen Blixen Museum and later Langata Giraffe Center where you have an opportunity to feed the giraffes from your own hands.

Overnight: Stanley Hotel

 

Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast drive north across the Equator into the panoramic northern frontier district. Your lunch you will have at Trout Tree Restaurant in Nanyuki. Arriving at Samburu Game Lodge in time for an afternoon game drive in the Samburu National Reserve.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. The following game drive enable you to see wildlife unique to this area of Kenya such as Reticulated Giraffe, Grey’s zebra, warthog, gerenuk, oryx, blue legged Somali ostrich; and if you are lucky the elusive leopard. After lunch, a third game drive allows you to further explore Samburu and its rare animal species.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve - Aberdare National Park
This morning continue your safari adventure as you drive north to the slopes of Aberdare National Park to famous Treetops Lodge. Spend the afternoon viewing game from the comfort of your lodge overlooking salt lick that is constantly visited by a variety of animals.

Day 5: Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast board your safari cruiser and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park and its lake play host to lesser flamingos and species of animals including rhino, lion, leopard and hyena. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive along the lakeshore.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast continue on an unforgettable journey into the Great Rift Valley. Drive via Narok town to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti. Arrive in time at Keekorok Lodge for late lunch followed by an afternoon gameviewing drive.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early morning game drive or an opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon flight (extra cost) over the Mara Plains, which includes a bubbly champagne breakfast upon landing or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Return to Keekorok Lodge where you have the rest of the time at leisure before lunch and late afternoon game drive.

Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi
After an early morning gamedrive and breakfast drive to Nairobi. On arrival lunch at Carnivore Restaurant followed by a transfer to the airport for your flight or proceed with your chosen extension.
