In the morning transfer from your beach hotel to Moi International Airport Mombasa and flight to Nairobi. On arrival meet our representative who will escort you to the New Stanley Hotel. In the afternoon you visit Karen Blixen Museum and later Langata Giraffe Center where you have an opportunity to feed the giraffes from your own hands.
After breakfast drive north across the Equator into the panoramic northern frontier district. Your lunch you will have at Trout Tree Restaurant in Nanyuki. Arriving at Shaba Sarova Lodge in time for an afternoon game drive in the Shaba National Reserve.
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. The following game drive enable you to see wildlife unique to this area of Kenya such as Reticulated Giraffe, Grey’s zebra, warthog, gerenuk, oryx, blue legged Somali ostrich; and if you are lucky the elusive leopard. After lunch, a third game drive allows you to further explore Shaba and its rare animal species.
Day 4: Shaba National Reserve - Aberdare National Park
This morning continue your safari adventure as you drive north to the slopes of Aberdare National Park to famous Treetops Lodge. Spend the afternoon viewing game from the comfort of your lodge overlooking salt lick that is constantly visited by a variety of animals.
Day 5: Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast board your safari cruiser and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park and its lake play host to lesser flamingos and species of animals including rhino, lion, leopard and hyena. After lunch at Lionhill Lodge enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive along the lakeshore.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast continue on an unforgettable journey into the Great Rift Valley. Drive via Narok town to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti. Arrive in time at Sarova Mara Camp for late lunch followed by an afternoon gameviewing drive.
An opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon flight (extra cost) over the Mara Plains, which includes a bubbly champagne breakfast upon landing or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Return to Sarova Mara Camp where you have the rest of the time at leisure before lunch and late afternoon game drive.
After an early morning gamedrive and breakfast drive to Nairobi. On arrival lunch at Carnivore Restaurant followed by transfer to Nairobi Airport for scheduled flight back to Mombasa and transfer to your beach hotel
