- The Camp
Leave the modern world behind, return to the traditional bush safari camp: starlit nights, campfire tales and hurricane lamps. Elephant Pepper Camp is a step back in time but with modern comforts. Elephant Pepper Camp is situated on the Northern Edge of the world famous Maasai Mara reserve.
It is an original bush camp with an emphasise on being eco friendly and being committed to finding a way of life that does not harm the wilderness, revenue from the camp goes back to the local community. It is a seasonal-camp full of home comforts and a relaxing mentality.
Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature, no generator, no traffic, no permanent structures obstructing your view, just the sights and sounds of the African bush. It has 8 large light canvas tents with en-suite dressing rooms, safari showers filled with hot water on request and flush toilets.
The main dining area offers family style dining with a help yourself bar. There is a separate living area. The chefs produce fantastic traditional Northern Italian cuisine. Looking from the camp across the plains one can see the ‘greatest game show on earth’ when the annual wildebeest migration thunders past to seek new grazing in the lush savannahs of the Maasai Mara.
