Day 1: Mombasa - Nairobi

We pick you up at your beach hotel and transfer you to Mombasa Airport for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Here you will be met on arrival by our representative who will escort you to Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi. In the afternoon you visit Karen Blixen Museum. Later proceed to Giraffe Centre to see and feed the rare Rothschild Giraffes. Today’s dinner is at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 2: Nairobi - Mount Kenya National Park

After breakfast our safari guide will pick you at Safari Park Hotel. You drive to Serena Mountain Lodge at Mount Kenya Nationalpark. Remainder of the afternoon and evening to watch game gathering at the water hole and saltlick in front of the lodge.

Day 3: Mount Kenya National Park - Samburu National Reserve

Drive into Kenya’s rugged north eastern region, home of the colourful Samburu tribe. Lunch at Samburu Serena Lodge. In the late afternoon there will be a game drive in the Samburu National Reserve which is home to all the main animals, as well as some unique ones like the Grevy Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

Full Day in Samburu with three game drives. Explore and catch a glimpse of some of the rare species found only in this part as the the blue-legged Somali Ostrich or the long-necked Gerenuk. Also good for riverlife with crocodiles and hippos.

Day 5: Samburu National Reserve - Sweetwaters Game Reserve

After breakfast drive to Sweetwaters (Ol Pejeta) Game Reserve, nestled in the game rich plains between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares. On an afternoon game drive, you can visit Jane Goodall's chimpanzee reserve or meet Morani - Kenya's tamest rhino.

Day 6: Sweetwaters Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

Awaken at dawn and depart on an early morning game drive. After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park and its lake play host to lesser flamingos and species of animals including rhino, lion, leopard and hyena. After lunch at Lionhill Lodge enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive along the lakeshore.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast continue on an unforgettable journey into the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti. Arrive in time at Mara Serena Lodge for late lunch followed by an afternoon gameviewing drive.

Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve

An opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon flight (extra cost) over the Mara Plains, which includes a bubbly champagne breakfast upon landing or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Return to Mara Serena Lodge where you have the rest of the time at leisure before lunch and late afternoon game drive.

Day 9: Maasai Mara National Reserve

A full day of gameviewing in the Maasai Mara, the world's most famous 'Big Cat' wilderness. The ritual of three extended game drives, guided by the professional safari guide becomes addictive.

Day 10: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Mombasa

After an early morning gamedrive and breakfast drive to Nairobi. On arrival transfer to Airport for your flight to Mombasa. Transfer to your beach resort.
