Tucked away in the spectacular vastness of The Great Rift Valley, on the 6,400 acre Congreve Conservancy on the Delamere Estate, Mbweha Camp is nestled up against the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park with views of the Eburu and Mau ranges.
Mbweha has 9 cottages which are made of local materials - thatch roofs with natural lava rock walls. They comprise a circular, roomy sleeping area with en-suite shower, and a private veranda. Though the cottages are simply designed they are comfortable and tastefully furnished with 12 volt solar lighting and are all private.
The sunken bush restaurant and bar are spacious and include a lounge. There is an open fireplace, from where you can listen to the sounds of the African night; crickets frog, baboons and even on the odd occasion, hyenas and lions. With a pool table, darts board and several board games you can while away the afternoon or evening as you look out at eye level over a mown lawn area. The bush restaurant serves a choice of tasty, freshly prepared meals as well as game meat in a separate thatched dining room. The bar is stocking a variety of cocktails that will rival any bar in the area. And as you relax and enjoy, listen to the Maasai sing and entertain you.
