Sabuk is an alluring haven on the edge of the Northern Frontier District overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River and the plains of Laikipia towards Mount Kenya. The 5 uniquely designed cottages all have river-facing views. En-suite bathrooms, modern flush toilets and a private verandah with a view make each cottage a haven in itself. The cottages are crafted from local stone and ancient cedar and olivewood from the local area. The main dining and living area also over looks the river. Sabuk is also the base for full walking and camel safaris. Led by a professional safari guide and his team of Laikipiak trekkers, guests can choose to fly-camp out in the wilderness for one or several nights before returning to the home comforts of the lodge.
